This policy explains what IGNOUOAMS.com collects, what it never collects, and how advertising and analytics partners may use cookies. Last updated: 4 November 2026.
Who we are
IGNOUOAMS.com is an independent student-help website. It is not IGNOU and is not connected to the university’s Samarth or OAMS systems.
What we never ask for
We never ask for your IGNOU or Samarth password, OTP, bank or card details, Aadhaar number or fee payments. No page on this website submits anything to IGNOU on your behalf.
Tools run on your device
The assignment PDF maker, cover page maker, PDF compressor, PDF merger, marks calculator and date sheet finder work inside your browser. Photos, PDFs and the details you type are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our server. If you tick “Remember my details on this device”, the details are saved in your own browser storage only, and you can clear them with the “Forget my details” button or by clearing site data.
Searches
When you search for a course code, the code is sent to our server to look up public information such as exam dates, assignment validity and question-paper links. We do not link searches to your identity.
Cookies and advertising
This website may show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics, such as Google Analytics, to count visits and understand which guides help students. Analytics providers may set cookies and process your IP address and device information under their own policies.
Server logs and security
Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) to keep the site secure and working. Caching and security plugins may set technical cookies needed for the site to function.
Children
This website is meant for university learners and is not directed at children under 13.
